The Orthello Cattle Corral is a great design for a medium-large size feedlot.
The bugle shaped force, tub and curved alley/race makes for easy efficient operation, and the simple square pen design makes for easy construction. When used only for processing this yard could hold up to 1500 head of cattle for a day, however for holding and feeding cattle it can hold 200-300 adult cattle.
The 3 Way Sorting/Drafting ability after the crush allows for drafting up to 300 head without emptying the 3 draft pens. The central alleyway also allows for drafting that way as well, and for easy movement of cattle throughout pens.
