Laneways make for easy access in and out of any pen. The high pressure areas - force, race and loading force, are 5 rail cattle rail. The rest of the yards have top and belly rails while saving costs with the use of cable. The two big cooler paddocks, are lower, and only use a top rail with five cables.
"Magazine" or "loadout" Pens are a great way to ensure that large numbers of cattle can be loaded quickly and efficiently.
By having pens which can be loaded with enough cattle for a full truck or at least in appropriate pen sizes, cattle can be ready to go for the driver or an operator to load up quickly and with minimum fuss.
